Deliverability is a system, not a setting. This 17-step checklist is what our own deliverability team runs on every new sending domain. Related: <a href="/blog/email-verification-guide">Email Verification Buyer's Guide</a>.
1. Authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
Set up all three before sending. Use our SPF & DMARC Checker to verify.
2. Warm up the domain over 30 days
New sending domains should ramp: 20 → 50 → 100 → 200 → 400 sends/day over 30 days. Skip the warmup and Google auto-filters you.
3. Waterfall-verify every list
Never send to a list without waterfall verification. A single 5% bounce puts your domain in the penalty box for weeks.
