Prospct.io provides a B2B prospecting platform used by sales, marketing and revenue teams to discover, verify and reach business contacts. Our services process both customer-provided data and business contact information sourced from public and licensed inputs.

We act as a data controller for information about our own users (account holders, website visitors) and as a data processor for information our customers upload into their workspace.

• Account information — name, work email, company, role, team size and password hash.
• Usage data — pages viewed, features used, searches performed, device, browser, and IP address.
• Billing information — plan, subscription status, invoicing details (payment card data is handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor and never stored on our servers).
• Customer content — data you upload, enrich, or export through the platform.
• Business contact data — the professional records that power the product, sourced from public inputs, licensed partners, and verified opt-in contributions.
• Communications — messages you send to our support and sales teams.

• Provide, operate and improve the Prospct.io platform.
• Verify identity, prevent fraud and enforce our terms.
• Deliver support, transactional emails and platform notifications.
• Send marketing communications, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• Measure aggregated product usage and improve reliability.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

Where GDPR applies, we rely on: contract to provide the services you request, legitimate interests to operate and improve the platform and to process business contact data for B2B prospecting, consent for optional marketing and analytics, and legal obligations where required.

We do not sell personal data. We share information with:

• Subprocessors that help us run the service (hosting, email, analytics, customer support).
• Your organization's admin, if you use Prospct.io through a workspace.
• Authorities where legally required, or to protect rights, safety and property.
• Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition or restructuring.

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce agreements. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Port your data in a common, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw consent for optional processing.
• Opt out of the display of your business contact record (see below).

To exercise a right, email privacy@prospct.io. We respond within statutory timeframes.

If your professional details appear in the Prospct.io database, you may request removal at opt-out@prospct.io. We will delete the record from our platform and add your details to a suppression list to prevent re-ingestion.

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest (AES-256), role-based access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews. See our Security page for more.

Prospct.io is a global service. Where personal data is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Enterprise customers may request EU or US data residency.
